Glenview Church on campus activities postponed until further notice.
Due to the spread of the coronavirus in our community and the CDC recommendations to limit large gatherings, we’ve made the decision to postpone all on campus activities and worship until further notice. This includes all Bible Study, Life Groups, GC Kids events, and Mercy Heart. It also includes the trip to Israel, and all Ukulele Band performances.
We are joining our community in being cautious by doing our part to help contain COVID-19 by limiting contact in public gatherings. The GC staff did not make this decision lightly but we know this is an important and responsible step in doing our part in the fight against the virus.
Now you can experience GC-Online. GC worship services will be streaming live online! When you join the GC-Online, you will enjoy the same worship you would experience in-person. You can also tune in every day at noon (Central Standard Time) for FACEBOOK LIVE. During this time, we will be sharing devotionals, updates, and Bible studies.
Our GC-Online worship begins at 10:30 AM Sunday mornings. You can log on to the Glenview Church Facebook page at 10:30 AM Sunday mornings to participate in worship and see Pastor Mike’s message.

On Campus Life Groups are being postponed along with all other on campus events. We are encouraging Life Groups to come together through ZOOM or any online avenue and participate in GC-Online Worship and study. We will be providing discussion questions about Pastor Mike’s message that can be asked and discussed. We are working to create on-line resources and content that you can use in your household. Dear Glenview Church Family,
Glenview Church is more than just a church. We are a family who cares for and about one another and because of this, we want to make sure, that each other is safe. Therefore, we are taking numerous precautions in response to the CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19).
To help yourself and others stay healthy, the CDC recommends:
*Washing your hands often and at least for 20 seconds
*Avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
*Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze with the inside of your elbow or a tissue.
*Avoiding close contact with those who are not feeling well. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and seek medical care.
*Clean and disinfect all touched surfaces daily.
* Keep a distance of at least 6 feet from another person
We have provided links to the CDC as well as an article from an Infectious Disease Expert who is also a Pastor to help answer your questions as well as give some history and information about the disease and how we as Christians should be responding to this situation.
