Block Parties

The goal of our Block Parties is to have a fun night of community in as many neighborhoods as possible.  The best part is that it is ALL FREE!  Enjoy a great family night together of games, candy, and fun while getting to know your neighbors.

The GC Block Parties give you an opportunity to get to know the people in your community while having a fun, non threatening evening.  By hosting a Block Party in your front yard, you can go all out with themes, games, and bounce houses or you can keep it smaller and offer face painting and music.  Big doesn’t just mean size, it means quality.  Don’t do just enough to get by, go overboard.  Whatever you decide, we want you to create an opportunity for face to face meetings with your neighbors and the kids in the area and see where that goes.  The Block Parties are a safe place to share God’s love.  You can partner with other GC families in your area or even your Life Groups to create an even bigger GC Block Party.

To host a Block Party, email Emily Wilson ( or Kayla Apple (  GC will provide the signage and candy.  You provide the fun.

A great party needs great food and what fits better at a Block Party?  Candy of course.  Candy donations can be put in the gray tubs placed around the GC Campus.  We will make sure that the candy gets to the locations that night.  Your donations will help make a GC Block Party a success.

Keep checking back as we begin to add locations.  We are sure there will be one near you.
