Parties Under the Shade Tree
Welcome to Parties Under the Shade Tree. It is an honor to be able to open our doors and offer our facilities to your family in an effort to provide the opportunity for your children to have the birthday of a lifetime. Below is general information about the Birthday Parties and how to go about reserving your date.
We open the booking schedule in June of each year for the upcoming year. If you would like to book a party, please call Mandy at 817-281-3361, ext. 247 or send her an email at shadetreeparty@gmail.com. Your party is not booked until the Party Coordinator has checked the schedule for an opening and contacted you.
WHO:
The parties are held for any child up to 12 years old looking for a fun and exciting party. As parents, you will enjoy care free party planning. You do not have to be a church member to book a party at Glenview.
WHAT:
The parties are 2 hours long – the 1st hour is spent in the Playscape and the 2nd hour is in the party room. Food, drinks, and opening of gifts will take place in the party room. (The last 15 minutes of the 2nd hour is clean-up.)
WHEN:
Parties are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month (with the exception of January 2011 which will then be the 2nd and 4th Saturdays) and are available at the times of: 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm.
COST:
Glenview hosts these parties as a ministry to our community. A suggested minimum donation of $75.00 will help insure that we will be able to continue this unique ministry in the years to come.
In order to book your party, a $35.00 non-refundable donation deposit is required. Your party will not be booked until the deposit is received. Deposits should be mailed to or brought by the church office (attn: Birthday Parties). The remaining donation may be given the day of the party.

- CUPS & FORKS (white only)
- NAPKINS & PLATES, (red, blue, yellow, green, & orange)
- TABLECLOTHS (red or white)
- BALLOONS (red, blue, yellow, green & orange)
- LEMONADE
You may bring any food or other decorations that are approved. As a reminder, we have no storage space for ice cream and please keep the guest list to a maximum of 20 children.
