Life Groups are age-appropriate classes designed to teach preschoolers basic Bible truths and to introduce to them a basic Bible foundation in which to build upon as they grow. All Life Groups for preschoolers are located in the Children’s Building and offered during both services on Sunday mornings. When visiting at Glenview Baptist Church, children are checked-in and registered at the Children’s Connection Desk located on the first floor of the Children’s Building next to the Playscape. After registering, parents will be given a security tag that matches their child’s name tag; this provides a safe way to release the preschoolers to their parents. Preschoolers are assigned to one of the Life Groups listed below according to their date of birth.

The first Sunday of the month we set aside a time during the Worship Service for parents to come together with their Pastor for a time of commitment in raising their children in a Christian home. If you would like to have your baby or small child dedicated, please call the church office or for more information, 817-281-3361.
Mother’s of Preschoolers is a group of moms that meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month during the school year from 9:30am until 11:45am. This is a great way to meet mothers in the area and be in a place where you can feel safe sharing new ideas with other moms. While moms are gathering together, children have their own curriculum that they go through on a bi-monthly basis. This is an exciting time both for kids and for moms. Childcare space is limited, so make sure to sign up today.

This is a Mother’s Day Out program for preschool children ages one year (must be one by September 1st) through Pre-K. This well rounded program is designed to develop spiritual, mental, physical and social growth. MDO is offered on Wednesday and Friday from 9am until 2pm during the school year. Registration Information for the 2012-2013 School Year is below:

Kid’s Worship is an opportunity for all children grades 1st – 4th to worship and serve our Heavenly Father. Kid’s Worship is made up of exciting, yet, intimate music followed by a creative and simple presentation of Biblical truths that children can apply to their lives.
AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed – 2 Timothy 2:15. AWANA is for 3 yr olds (by Sept) to 5th grade and meets every Wednesday night during the school year. This is a unique ministry that offers kids a chance to learn why they believe what they believe and to spread the Gospel to others.

It is a time of preparing and equipping young hearts and minds for worship, praise and glorifying God. This ministry is for boys and girls PreKindergaten through 5th grade and meets each Wednesday night during the school year.
Easter Celebration is held here at the church the weekend before Easter. You can expect to enjoy lots of fun, fellowship, and an Easter egg hunt for the little ones. Come join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Shema Classes is the New Christians Class designed specifically for children to attend with their parents. It is offered every quarter at 9:23am for 3rd – 6th graders, and 10:50am for Kindergarten – 2nd Grade. Before a child is baptized, it is our desire to disciple them in their faith. The Shema Classes cover topics such as: Understanding Salvation, Baptism, The Lord’s Supper, and The Makings of a Disciple. Each of these topics is covered in each of the weeks.
