Project S.O.S. (Support Our Soldier)

Project S.O.S. (Support Our Soldier) is a ministry reaching out to our men and women serving in the military. This ministry started 3 years ago with helping Todd Claypool a former Associate Pastor that was called to be a Chaplin for the US Army. He had a need to help lift up the spirits of the soldiers he was working with. We started with 25 soldiers and grew over the years we have 130 and growing this year, we are working with 2 different Chaplin’s this year.

Currently packages are being sent to Iraq and Afghanistan to give a little bit of home and Godly love to them. Packages are sent once a quarter to these military servants.

We ship the following items:

• Hygiene products (no liquids or aerosol cans)
• Books & magazines
• Snack foods (Little Debbie’s, beef jerky, cookies etc.)
• Batteries
• Calling Cards
• Coffee Shop products (coffee, creamer (powder only), sugar, stirrers etc)
• Quick Meals (oatmeal, cup o noodles, pop tarts, Vienna sausages etc)
