Christmas is a very special time to be at Glenview Church. The halls are full of the sounds of the holiday and the decorations create an atmosphere of joy and cheer. We have several family friendly events happening to celebrate the birth of Christ. Our 2018 celebration includes the following events.

GC Worship Presents The Lights of Christmas / December 9 / 10:30 AM: Christmas is the time of year where lights are everywhere. From the lights we hang on our trees, to the candles we put in the window to the star that shown on the place baby Jesus laid. Our GC Worship ministry has created a new musical exploring the mysteries, facts, fantasies, and truths about the lights of Christmas.
Agape Feast: A Seasonal Celebration and Worship / December 12/ 5:00 PM: Our annual Agape Feast is one of the highlights of the Glenview Church year. This evening begins with a church-wide meal full of seasonal goodies and ends with moving and powerful worship focused on the birth of Christ.
Parents Night Out Presents The Polar Express. December 14 / 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM: This fun event for our younger set provides a place for parents to bring their child while the parents spend a little time together. The evening will be filled with holiday crafts, snacks, a very special guest, and, of course, The Polar Express movie. Reservations are required. Sign up at the Children’s Ministry Building Desk or email Emily Wilson (Ewilson@glenviewchurch.org) There is a $15.00 cost per child.
GC Chili Cook-Off and Christmas Caroling / December 19 / 6:30 PM: Warm up your vocal chords and dress warm because we are hitting the neighborhoods and spreading some Christmas cheer with music! Each year the GC family heads out to sing for our neighbors followed by hot chocolate and seasonal goodies. This has become a much beloved multi-generational event.
