Each summer experience one of the major highlights for children of all ages, VBS. Where they learn and grow in their relationship with God! VBS promises to be life changing for any child that is entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. This year’s VBS is June 11 – 15, 2012.
Easter Celebration
Easter Celebration is held here at the church the weekend before Easter. You can expect to enjoy lots of fun, fellowship, and an Easter egg hunt for the little ones. Come join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Kid’s Camp
Exciting! Fun! Thrilling! Life-Transforming! All these words describe Kid’s Camp. Kid’s Camp is all of the above and more as children (completed 3rd grade through 6th grade) gather together with friends and experience one of the best weeks of summer.

Family Fun Fest
Join the church and neighborhood in a safe, fun, exciting night as we give families an opportunity to Trunk or Treat! Family Fun Fest is designed with the family in mind, in the excitement that comes with getting candy, bounce houses, and lots of fun. Anyone and everyone are welcome to join us each year on October 31, from 6:00pm – 8:30pm. Make sure to watch the website for more information about this fun filled evening!
Family Mission Trip
Family Mission Trip is an opportunity for families to join together for a life altering week on a mission trip. At Glenview we make disciples who love God, love each other, and serve the world. Watch your family’s relationship grow with each other and with other members of the body of Christ as each one serves on the Family Mission Trip. The Family Mission Trip takes place during Spring Break each year.
Family Service Day
Gather up the family and enjoy a day serving your Creator. Held annually, Family Service Day offers a safe and enjoyable opportunity for the family to serve in a local community project. What better way to instill Biblical service than by way of example. Watch for updates on this awesome experience.
FreePlay
Looking to beat the summer heat? Well, our three-story in-door playscape is open to the public during scheduled days in the summer. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Birthday Parties
Parties Under the Shade Tree
Welcome to Parties Under the Shade Tree. It is an honor to be able to open our doors and offer our facilities to your family in an effort to provide the opportunity for your children to have the birthday of a lifetime. Below is general information about the Birthday Parties and how to go about reserving your date.
We open the booking schedule in June of each year for the upcoming year. If you would like to book a party, please call Mandy at 817-281-3361, ext. 247 or send her an email at shadetreeparty@gmail.com. Your party is not booked until the Party Coordinator has checked the schedule for an opening and contacted you.
WHO:
The parties are held for any child up to 12 years old looking for a fun and exciting party. As parents, you will enjoy care free party planning. You do not have to be a church member to book a party at Glenview.
WHAT:
The parties are 2 hours long – the 1st hour is spent in the Playscape and the 2nd hour is in the party room. Food, drinks, and opening of gifts will take place in the party room. (The last 15 minutes of the 2nd hour is clean-up.)
WHEN:
Parties are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month (with the exception of January 2011 which will then be the 2nd and 4th Saturdays) and are available at the times of: 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm.
COST:
Glenview hosts these parties as a ministry to our community. A suggested minimum donation of $75.00 will help insure that we will be able to continue this unique ministry in the years to come.
In order to book your party, a $35.00 non-refundable donation deposit is required. Your party will not be booked until the deposit is received. Deposits should be mailed to or brought by the church office (attn: Birthday Parties). The remaining donation may be given the day of the party.

- LEMONADE
You may bring any food or other decorations that are approved. As a reminder, we have no storage space for ice cream and please keep the guest list to a maximum of 20 children.
