Our New Member’s Class is designed for 3 types of people: those who are considering membership, those who have recently become members, or those who have been members and never had the opportunity to attend the class. If you fit any of these categories, you fit in our class! This 3 week series is an opportunity for you to discover who we are and what we do here at Glenview as well as looking deeper into who you are in Christ, your gifts, your unique design, and distinguishing how God is calling you to use your gifts and talents in the world. We invite you to come join us for these amazing 3 nights of discovery! 1st Session – Dinner 6:00 – 6:30pm, Building Tour and Class 6:30-8:00pm, 2nd and 3rd Session – Class begins at 6:45pm in room 116.

Course Outline
1st Session
6:00 – 6:45pm – Dinner with Senior Pastor, Dennis Baw in Room 113/115. (A meal ticket will be provided for each person in the New Member class at no charge. Pick-up your ticket at the Ticket Table in the Fellowship Hall and join us in Room 1116 for dinner)
6:45pm – Playscape and Building Tour, Glenview’s Structure
During the first class session, you will have the opportunity to take a closer look at Glenview. From building tours, to stained glass and a 3 story treehouse, to the mission statement and values – all of these topics will be discussed in the first class session. You will be able to walk away knowing our mission statement, church organizational structure, membership, distinctive of Glenview, our staff, our weekly schedule, and our core ministries.
2nd and 3rd Session
6:45 – 8:00pm – Class
We know that every person that God calls to be a member of Glenview is called to help fulfill His purpose of making disciples. It is during this class session that we discuss our Spiritual Gifts and Personalities and take a closer look at how we can use both of those to plug into ministries and make an eternal difference. These two tools will help you find out how and where you can get plugged in and what God has in plan for you while being a member of Glenview Baptist Church.
