Men’s Ministry

The state of manhood in America has been under attack for more than 100 years! We, unlike some countries, have no “Rite of Passage” where a boy becomes a man. Consequently, so many boys and men simply drift through life, never really understanding their purpose with regard to these three questions:

“Who am I?”
“Why am I here?”
“Where am I going?”

More than 600 men have attended portions or all of the three years of Men’s Fraternity! We have heard testimonies of life-changing experiences many of us have had through this study. Hundreds of men have made new discoveries about themselves, as well as making many new friends. Now it’s your opportunity to do the same. For a relaxed, non-threatening, laughter-filled and safe time in your life that will make a difference forever.

1. “I’ve not attended before. Is it too late to begin?”
   No way, no how! You’ll be able to join right in, as the lessons can stand alone. We’ll do everything possible to make you feel like you haven’t missed anything.
2. “How much does it cost?”
   This is our church’s gift to the community. The only cost is for your workbook ($10) or change if you get snacks. Water & coffee are free.
3. “Is this church?”
   No, while we meet in Glenview’s Fellowship Hall, the atmosphere is definitely “manly,” with lots of “up” music, laughter and great excited friends in a unique setting.
4. “Do I have to be a memeber of Glenview to attend?”
   Definitely not. We have men from around the area attending, some from other churches and some who don’t attend anywhere. Our men go overboard to make every man or young man feel very welcome.
